My name is Fatima Dollie. I was born and raised on the beautiful shores of Cape Town, South Africa. I have over 20 years of teaching experience at Ōtāhuhu Primary School. With a wealth of international teaching experience, I bring extensive knowledge, expertise, and leadership in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics across Years 1–12.
I am proud to serve as the Board of Trustees Staff Representative and as part of Ōtāhuhu Kāhui Ako, working collaboratively to enhance student outcomes and strengthen community connections. I hold a Master’s degree in Education and my passion lies in creating engaging, inclusive, and culturally responsive learning environments where all students can thrive.
As an Educational Kinesiologist, I incorporate Brain Gym exercises into my classroom, using these techniques to unlock the full potential of my students, helping them overcome learning challenges and bring out their best.
Beyond the classroom, I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending quality time with friends and whānau. I am blessed with an amazing husband, Mani, and two wonderful sons, Qaasim and Uzair.
