We are partnered with the Anglican Trust For Women & Children (ATWC) who provide a social worker 3 days a week in our school. Our SWIS is Steph Donaldson. She is based in Room 23a in the junior school area, and is available to support whānau with a wide range of services.

We are delighted to have Mal Dalbeth from LifeWalk as our School Mentor (formerly Chaplain). The School Mentor helps students make better life choices through conferencing with children in a 1-1 capacity. They build trusting relationships with students and help them to thrive in the school context. This includes guidance and support of issues that children face in their day-to-day lives.
The Otahuhu Children's Community Dental Clinic is based at Otahuhu Primary School. If your child brings home a notice to say they require fillings or extractions please fill in the form if needed and send back to the dental clinic.
The entrance to the dental clinic is via Great South Road, directly off the roundabout opposite Prince's Street, at the bottom of the Otahuhu shopping centre.

The school provides a healthy breakfast for students who require it. Many thanks to Weston Milling Ltd and the Kidscan trust for their support.
A piece of fruit is provided for each student for morning tea as part of the Fruit in Schools Programme.
The school provides a healthy lunch for all students as part of the Government's "Free Lunch for All" programme. Our provider is BiteLab.
The Books in Homes programme provides up to 5 free books for each student per year. We thank Books in Homes for their support of this programme.
The Reading Together Workshops take place in the school library on Wednesday afternoons after school from 2:45-3:45pm. Whānau are welcome to attend with their children (toddlers and babies welcome) to develop a love of reading. We have a wide range of texts available, and there are staff and volunteers available to model reading to the children.
The Rotary Club of Otahuhu supports our Oral Hygiene Programme by supplying toothbrushes and toothpaste for each our students throughout the year. We thank them for their support of this programme.
The Kidscan Trust sponsors some of the students in our school with footwear and raincoats as required. We thank them for their support of this programme.
